I’m Jamie — a Personal Trainer and Fitness Coach based in Oxford, UK. I help busy adults get stronger, fitter, healthier, and more resilient without wasting hours in the gym or living on restrictive diets.
But beyond coaching, I’m also a dad, a weekend bread baker, a hot sauce enthusiast, and someone who genuinely loves learning new languages.
Fitness is a huge part of my life now, but that wasn’t always the case.
From Ski Bum to Strength Coach
When I was 21, I left university and moved to the Swiss Alps to become what can only be described as a full-time ski bum.
For six years, life revolved around skiing hard, partying hard, and avoiding anything that looked remotely like adult responsibility. It was fun — until it wasn’t.
Eventually, I realised I was drifting towards a future I didn’t want.
I was unhealthy, undisciplined, low on energy, and nowhere near the person I wanted to become. Running for the bus left me breathless. My habits were poor. My fitness was worse.
That’s when I found strength training and fitness.
And yes, it sounds cliché — but training genuinely changed the direction of my life.
Fitness gave me structure, discipline, confidence, and purpose. It helped me build a healthier lifestyle and become someone stronger physically and mentally.
That transformation is exactly why I became a personal trainer.

Like many people, I spent years making mistakes.
I jumped between training programmes, followed unsustainable diets, overcomplicated nutrition, and wasted time chasing “perfect” fitness plans that didn’t fit real life.
